The idea for Zappyfi did not come from a boardroom or a strategy meeting. It came from real life as customers. During weekend getaways, unreliable connectivity repeatedly disrupted moments that should have been simple.

With years of experience in telecom and technology, the gaps were clear. What truly shaped the direction was my partner’s insistence that connectivity should work better for people like us, not just on paper.

A quiet evening conversation and a glass of Scottish wine turned frustration into intent. The goal became clear: build connectivity from the customer’s point of view. Zappyfi was founded in 2025 with that belief at its core.

With the technical foundation already in place, that idea quickly turned into action. Zappyfi launched to deliver plug-and-play connectivity powered by multi-network SmartSIM IoT and eSIM technology, built for real travel and real life.
